Properties:
Appearance: light yellow evenly dispersed solution
Structure: a compound of bisbenzoxazole thiophene type
Melting point of the powdered crystal:219-221℃
Ionicity: Non-ionic
Hue: bluish fluorescence
Applications: At present, EBF is the whitening agent rather commonly used for polyester fibers both at home and abroad due to its fastness. The product can also used for whitening plastics, coating, acetate fibers, Jinlun, polyvinyl chloride fibers etc.. It is similar to Uvitex EBF made in foreign country.
Directions for use and dosage: For whitening polyester fabrics or polyester-cellulose blend fabrics, high temperature-pressure dip-dyeing process, low-temperature adsorbing and fixing dip-dyeing process or pad-dyeing process can be used. When high concentrated commercial EBF in the form of paste is used for whitening textiles, the dosage should normally be 0.2~1.0% O.W.F..
