Fluorescent Whitening Agent PRS (FBA134)

Properties: Fluorescent Whitening Agent PRS is a derivative of the diphenylethylene bistriazine type, chemically called 4,4'-bis[(6-anilino-4-methoxy-1,3,5triazin-2-yl)amino] diphenylethylene-2,2'-sodium disulfonate and similar to Uvitex PRS, Whitex BF and Blankophor BBH made in foreign countries. It is a light yellow powder, soluble in water, resistant to acid, resistant to hydrogen peroxide bleaching, and has a high direct effect on bleaching paper pulp.

Applications: PRS is more adaptable than VBL due to its higher resistance to acid. It can be used in slightly acidic medium for whitening silk fabric, animal fiber and polyamide fiber, and can be used in peroxide or reduction bleaching bath. It also has an excellent whitening effect on cotton fabric, viscose fiber, Jinlun, paper and washing powder.

Directions for use and dosage: It should be added in process of paper-making or dyeing & printing with a dosage of 0.2-0.5% on weight of the material to be whitened.
