Fluorescent Whitening Agent PRA

Properties: Fluorescent Whitening Agent PRA is a derivative of the diphenylethylene bistriazine type . The product has an appearance of white crystalline powder and a nature of anion. It is resistant to acids and resistant to hydrogen peroxide bleaching.

Application: Whitening Agent PRA can be used for whitening cotton, viscose and Jinlun fibers and can also be used as a fine whitener for detergents. In slightly acidic medium, it is able to whiten silk fabrics, animal fibers and polyamine fibers. PRA can be use in a bath together with peroxide or reduction bleaching agent, or added into the water bath of softener. It can whiten paper to a strikingly white color, which Whitening Agent VBL is far from being able to do.

Directions for use and dosage: For whitening textiles, dissolve PRA in hot water until the solution becomes clear; adjust the PH value to 5.5~9;carry out pad-dyeing with a dosage of 1~3g/l at room temperature; and then dry at 100. For whitening detergents, the dosage can be as much as 0.4% or over, as the yellowness factor of this product is remarkably higher than that of Whitening Agent VBL.
